The variable speed fan and 8-way air direction along with Electronic Controls make it easy to operate and with LVC Technology (Low Voltage Compensation), proper operation of the unit is assured when voltage fluctuates below normal levels. Installing the unit is made easy with the Vertical Mounting Kit and filter cleaning is a snap with the tilt-out filter access feature. The FAK124R1V is 20 1/4- inches in height, 14 1/4-inches in width, and 24 1/2-inches in depth, weighs 93 pounds, and uses 115 Volts AC. It requires a window height of 21 1/2 - 40-inches and a width of 15 1/2-inch. Frigidaire provides one year full and five year sealed system warranty.

Very nice product, based on another review, we plugged the unit in and made sure it was good before installing. The install went without a problem. The heavy duty bracket with the nice paded support for the outside of the wall is fast and easy to install. The Unit is great, it cooled half hour house with no problem (1350 sq ft home)

This is my second air conditioner of this type from Frigidaire. The other one I've had for two years and is the 8000btu model.
Both have been trouble free and very easy on the electric bill. The energy star features really seem to make a big difference and the remote is a definite plus.
These units are fairly easy to install and a great deal with the free shipping. =^.^=
I highly recommend these and have told all my friends about them when they ask me about my air conditioners.

I bought 2 of these units to go into my slider windows. They are great, quiet and get the house cold quickly. The install was pretty simple too. I highly recommend this unit. Make sure you open the boxes and check them when they arrive. The first 2 came out damaged, but were replaced with undamaged units. There was a bit of a time delay to get this fixed because I live on the west coast and these units were truck shipping from NY. The company was good and offered 30% off to keep the damaged units (started at 10% and went up to 30%), but I wanted non damaged, so they promptly sent the new ones.

Had just bought a Kenmore 10,000 btu - similar in size. The Kenmore on high fan was pathetic so I ordered the Frigidaire - I could not believe how well it was packaged! The fan is much more powerful (but quiet) and there is no drip hole - the Kenmore dripped like crazy but the Frigidaire has a drip pan that I guess helps with the energy efficiency. Great feature!! My porch is right below the unit and it barely drips at all! even on humid days.
Highly Recommend this product.
